Dr. Victor K Muposhi

Scientific & Conservation Science Advisor

Victor holds a DPhil in Conservation Biology, an MSc in Conservation Biology, and a BSc (Honours) in Environmental Science in Wildlife and Rangeland Management.

He has more than 10 years of academic experience, research and community engagement on conservation and environmental issues, and has published several scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.

Victor has broad interdisciplinary research interests in biodiversity conservation and sustainability science, the business of conservation, ecosystem services, ecological niche modelling and spatial ecology. He endeavours to develop and support complementary pathways that engage communities to create an enabling environment, thus reducing pressure on wildlife species and protected areas.

He is currently the Academic Manager in the School of Wildlife Conservation.
